Irresistible smoked salmon and dill egg bites, perfect for any party.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 ounce smoked salmon, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1.5 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1.5 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried dill weed, for garnish
  • 1 pinch paprika, for garnish
Instructions:
  • Place the eggs in a saucepan, ensuring they are in a single layer, and cover them with water, allowing an extra inch of water above the eggs. Bring the water to a boil, then remove from heat and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 15 minutes. Drain the hot water, cool the eggs under cold running water, and peel when they are cold.
  • Slice the eggs lengthwise and remove the yolks. Use a fork to mash the yolks in a small mixing bowl. Add smoked salmon, mayonnaise, lemon juice, yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon dried dill, salt, and pepper, and mix everything together thoroughly.
  • Gently fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture, then sprinkle with paprika and a hint of dried dill for extra flavor.
  • Chill in the fridge with a snug plastic wrap covering until ready to serve.
