Smoked salmon with pumpernickel

Ingredients:
  • 82.50 gm light spreadable cream cheese
  • 20.00 ml drained capers, finely chopped
  • 10.60 gm lime juice
  • 20.00 ml chopped fresh dill
  • 6 slices wholegrain pumpernickel bread, halved (see note)
  • 50g packet smoked salmon, cut into 12 pieces
  • 1/4 small red onion, cut into thin slivers
  • Extra dill sprigs, to serve (optional)
  • Extra capers, to serve (optional)
Instructions:
  • Mix together cream cheese, capers, lime juice, and dill in a small bowl. Evenly spread the mixture over one side of the pumpernickel bread.
  • Garnish with smoked salmon, red onion, additional dill sprigs, and capers before serving.
