Delicious cinnamon sugar cake with irresistible streusel topping - a tasty twist on classic snickerdoodle flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2.5 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup cake flour
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Combine the white sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle half into the greased baking pan. Reserve the remaining half for later to sprinkle over the cake batter.
  • Using an electric mixer, blend sugar, butter, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until creamy. Incorporate eggs and mix well.
  • Combine the all-purpose flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Add the mixture to the egg mixture in batches, alternating with milk.
  • Pour the batter into the baking pan, sprinkle with the reserved cinnamon and sugar mixture, and set aside.
  • Combine brown sugar and cake flour in a bowl, then blend in butter until crumbly to make a delicious streusel topping. Sprinkle generously over the cake.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow it to cool completely before serving.
