Spicy raw spaghetti cooked in tomato sauce - a deliciously killer dish!
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups tomato puree
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons red chili flakes, or to taste
  • 6 ounces dry spaghetti
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • In a pot over medium heat, sauté garlic in olive oil until golden and fragrant, around 1 minute. Then, mix in tomato puree, water, and salt. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, then reduce to low and keep warm.
  • Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle in chili flakes and cook until they sizzle, about 1 minute. Add raw spaghetti and toss to coat evenly in the flavorful chili oil.
  • Pour 3 cups of tomato broth into the pan, then gently toss the pasta with tongs to evenly coat in the broth. Cook, continuing to move the pasta from side to side until most of the broth is absorbed or evaporated, and the spaghetti begins to fry in the pan.
  • Use tongs to flip the spaghetti in the pan, ensuring it's evenly spread out. Continue cooking until the pasta becomes golden brown and lightly charred.
  • Pour an additional 2 cups of tomato broth and continue cooking until the spaghetti reaches your desired level of char and doneness. Add more broth at the end for a saucier dish, if preferred, or serve as is for a drier version.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with extra chili flakes to taste.
  • Savor every bite!
