Create a delicious spaghetti sauce with rich meaty flavors using your slow cooker.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon anise seed
  • 1 bay leaf
Instructions:
  • In a hot skillet, brown the beef until crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  • Combine beef, diced tomatoes, onion, tomato paste, sugar, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, oregano, anise seed, and bay leaf in a slow cooker and stir well.
  • Simmer on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
