Elevate your pasta game with marinated tuna, lemon, oregano, sun-dried tomato, and Sicilian olives in this elegant spaghetti dish.
Ingredients:
  • 350g spaghetti
  • 1/2 jar olive sauce
  • 350g fresh tuna (sashimi grade)
  • 3 lemons, juiced
  • 113.75 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 sundried tomatoes
  • 10 Sicilian olives, pitted
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 60.00 ml capers
  • 20.00 ml oregano, dried
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Rock salt, for pasta water
  • Sea salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
  • Slice the tuna thinly into strips and combine with lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil in a bowl. Add dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Allow the tuna to marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Drop Barilla spaghetti into a pot of generously salted boiling water and cook as per the package directions. Slice sundried tomatoes, olives, capers, and basil and place them in a bowl.
  • Once the pasta is drained, combine it with the flavorful sundried tomato mixture in a large bowl.
  • Combine the marinated tuna with the Barilla Olive sauce, ensuring the pasta absorbs all the delicious flavors. Taste for seasoning and serve promptly.
