Spiced chicken with herb cream

Handheld sticky drumettes dunked in herby yogurt cream will tantalize your taste buds.
Ingredients:
  • 28.60 gm honey
  • 10.00 gm ground cumin
  • 10.00 gm sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp sumac
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 12 (about 1.1kg) chicken drumettes
  • 125g (1/2 cup) sour cream
  • 130g (1/2 cup) Greek Style Yoghurt
  • 30.00 ml chopped fresh mint
  • 30.00 ml chopped fresh coriander
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • Olive oil, to grease
Instructions:
  • In a glass or ceramic dish, mix honey, oil, cumin, paprika, sumac, and chili. Add the chicken and coat it well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight to marinate.
  • Mix together the sour cream, yogurt, fresh mint, cilantro, and garlic in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Preheat your oven to 220°C. Prepare 2 baking trays by lining them with foil and brushing oil to grease them. Spread the chicken evenly between the trays. Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 220°C for 15 minutes, then flip the chicken and lower the temperature to 200°C. Continue baking for another 15 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Plate the dish and accompany it with the herb cream for a perfect presentation.
