Impress guests with a flavorful mezze platter.
Ingredients:
  • 1kg lamb mince
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 165.00 ml chopped fresh continental parsley
  • 165.00 ml chopped fresh mint
  • 5.00 gm ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes, crushed
  • 1 egg, lightly whisked
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix together mince, onion, parsley, mint, cumin, coriander, chilli flakes, egg, and garlic. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Form 1/4 cup of lamb mixture around a soaked bamboo skewer into a 7cm sausage shape. Arrange on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Repeat with the rest of the lamb mixture.
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, brown and cook half of the kofta in half of the oil for 7-8 minutes, turning occasionally. Repeat the process with the remaining oil and kofta.
