Spicy party mix ready in 15 minutes - packed with chili powder and red pepper for the perfect kick!
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 2 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
- 2 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
- 2 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
- 1 can (11.5 oz) mixed nuts
Instructions:
- Combine sugar, chili powder, and red pepper in a small bowl.
- Microwave butter in a large microwave-safe bowl on High for about 40 seconds or until melted. Mix in cereal and nuts until well coated. Add the sugar mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Microwave on High for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring halfway through, until mixture lightly browns. Cool on waxed paper and store in an airtight container.
