Ingredients:
  • 20.00 ml cumin seeds
  • 5.00 gm smoked paprika (pimenton) (see Notes)
  • 2.50 gm ground ginger
  • 1.25 gm ground nutmeg
  • 1.25 gm ground cinnamon
  • 9.20 gm vegetable oil
  • 2 swordfish steaks
  • Wild rocket, to serve
  • Lime wedges, to serve
  • 1 avocado, flesh diced
  • 2 tomatoes, seeds removed, chopped
  • 125g canned corn kernels, drained
  • 6 spring onions, sliced
  • 125.00 ml chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 lime, zested, juiced
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
Instructions:
  • Prepare the salsa by combining the ingredients and chilling. Crush cumin with 1 teaspoon salt using a mortar and pestle; mix with remaining spices. Coat fish with spice blend. Heat oil in a frypan, cook fish for 2-3 minutes each side until done. Serve fish with salsa, rocket, and lime wedges.
