Satisfy your taste buds with a flavorful quiche featuring spinach, mushrooms, broccoli, turkey bacon, and tangy Cheddar.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1 prepared 9-inch single pie crust
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 slice turkey bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 (9 ounce) bag fresh spinach
  • 1 (3.5 ounce) package shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 0.5 cup chopped broccoli florets
  • 0.25 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect bake.
  • Gently press the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Sauté green onions and garlic until onions are softened, about 5 minutes. Add turkey bacon to the skillet and cook until fragrant.
  • Combine fresh spinach, shiitake mushrooms, and broccoli with the aromatic green onions in the pan. Sauté and mix the vegetables until tender, for about 5 to 7 minutes. Gently fold in 1/4 cup of sharp Cheddar cheese.
  • Fill the pie crust with the vegetable mixture using a spoon.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, sea salt, and black pepper until smooth in a bowl. Pour the egg mixture over the vegetable filling, gently folding the eggs into the filling to blend them together.
  • Bake the quiche in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then sprinkle 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Cover with foil and bake until set and a toothpick comes out clean, about 10 more minutes.
  • Let the quiche cool for 5 minutes before enjoying.
