St. Patrick's Day Chocolate-Covered Oreos®

Whip up these easy and festive green candy-coated Oreos® for a fun St. Patrick's Day treat or snack!
Ingredients:
  • 4 ounces green confectioners' coating (such as green Wilton Candy Melts®)
  • 16 chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®)
  • 1 tablespoon green and white nonpareils sprinkles
Instructions:
  • Melt green confectioners' coating in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes until smooth. Remove from heat after melting, scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to prevent scorching.
  • Submerge each cookie 2/3 of the way into the melted candy before setting it down on wax paper.
  • Sprinkle the nonpareils onto the wet candy immediately before the coating sets, possibly in batches to ensure they adhere. Let the candy coating dry completely before enjoying.
