Liven up green beans with zesty lemon, crunchy walnuts, and tangy balsamic vinegar. Perfect with any protein!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons basil-infused olive oil
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 0.25 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add green beans and coat evenly with the oil. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add walnuts, white balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper; mix well. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to avoid burning the walnuts, until beans are soft yet still slightly crunchy.
  • Take off the heat and generously sprinkle with freshly squeezed lemon juice and a pinch of red pepper flakes.
