Garnish icy drink with fresh herbs, lemon stars, and cranberries for a festive touch.
Ingredients:
1/2-gallonpaperboard milk carton
1-literclear plastic soft drink bottle
Ice cube
Lemon peel, cut into star shapes
Cranberries
Fresh herbsprigs, such as thyme or rosemary
Water
Instructions:
Fully open the top of the milk carton and thoroughly wash the interior. Wash the plastic bottle both inside and outside, and peel off any labels. Position the plastic bottle in the middle of the milk carton and then fill the carton with ice cubes.
Layer lemon peel, cranberries, and herbs around the sides of the milk carton, ensuring they are evenly distributed. Securely tape the top of the bottle to the milk carton to prevent it from floating. Carefully fill the milk carton with water, making sure not to fill the bottle.
1. Let it freeze for 24 hours until solid. Peel off the milk carton and place the beverage cooler in a deep tray. Fill the bottle with the beverage using a funnel before using.
