30-minute pork and garlic steamed dumplings with coriander for a flavorful, quick meal.
Ingredients:
  • 300g pork mince
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 62.50 ml bamboo shoots, chopped
  • 2 tsp Chinese rice wine
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 3/4 tsp sesame oil
  • 30 fresh wonton wrappers
  • 1cm piece ginger, peeled, finely chopped
  • 65.63 gm soy sauce
  • 30.00 ml white wine vinegar
  • 13.50 gm white sugar
  • 20.00 ml coriander leaves, chopped
Instructions:
  • Mix together ground meat, diced onion, minced garlic, bamboo shoots, rice wine, white pepper, and oil in a bowl. Don't forget to season with salt to taste.
  • Spoon 1 teaspoon of the mixture onto the center of a wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wonton into a triangle, and bring the base corners together, pressing firmly to seal.
  • Prepare a large steamer basket by lining the base with baking paper. Arrange the dumplings in a single layer in the basket. Fill a wok with water one-quarter full and bring to a boil over high heat. Carefully place the steamer basket over the wok, making sure the base doesn't touch the water. Steam the dumplings for 15 to 20 minutes until they are tender and fully cooked.
  • In a bowl, mix together ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and coriander until fully combined. Enjoy with dumplings.
