Ingredients:
  • 275g pkt Meal Kit Japanese Teriyaki Meatballs
  • 500g plant based mince
  • 18.40 gm vegetable oil, for frying
  • Steamed long-grain rice, to serve
  • Steamed baby pak choy, to serve
  • 1 green shallot, thinly sliced
  • Sesame seeds, toasted, to serve
Instructions:
  • Combine Taste seasoning mix, minced meat, egg, and 2 tablespoons of water in a large bowl, mixing thoroughly.
  • Form heaping spoonfuls of the mince mixture into balls. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the meatballs for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden and cooked through. Pour in the Taste sauce mix and 125ml (½ cup) water, stirring until the meatballs are well coated.
  • Garnish the meatballs with shallot and sesame seeds before serving alongside rice and steamed pak choy.
