Decadent brunch treats with croissant cubes, fresh strawberries, and cream cheese custard layers.
Ingredients:
  • 6 large stale croissants, cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
  • 0.5 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease 9 cups of a muffin tin, placing it on a baking sheet.
  • Distribute croissant cubes evenly into greased muffin cups, gently pressing strawberries into and on top of the cubes.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together cream cheese, white sugar, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Slowly pour the mixture over each muffin cup, ensuring the croissant cubes and strawberries are completely soaked.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown and set, for 30-40 minutes. Let them cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely for about 30 minutes. Dust with confectioners' sugar right before serving.
