Strawberries and custard jelly pots

Whip up kid-friendly jelly pots for a simple, fun dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 85g packet strawberry and cream jelly crystals
  • 250.00 gm boiling water
  • 250g fresh strawberries, hulled, halved
  • 240.00 gm thick vanilla custard
Instructions:
  • In a large heatproof jug, combine the jelly crystals with boiling water and stir until dissolved. Mix in 200ml cold water. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 1/2 hours or until partially set.
  • Set aside 4 strawberry halves. Distribute the rest of the strawberries among four 1-cup glasses. Pour jelly over the strawberries. Chill for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until set. Spoon 1/4 cup of custard over each jelly. Garnish with one of the reserved strawberry halves. Serve.
