Strawberry and rosewater sauce

Ingredients:
  • 107.50 gm caster sugar
  • 250.00 gm water
  • 250g small strawberries
  • 200g fresh raspberries or frozen raspberries
  • 1-2 tsp rosewater
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, combine 1/2 cup caster sugar and 1 cup water. Stir over medium heat until the sugar completely dissolves. Allow the mixture to boil for 5 minutes.
  • Add 250g small strawberries, sliced, 200g fresh or frozen raspberries, and 1-2 teaspoons of fragrant rosewater, gently stirring them in.
  • Gently pour the mixture over the cooled cheesecake.
