Quick and delicious strawberry filling made with frozen berries, cornstarch, sugar, and water. Perfect for cakes, tarts, and pastries.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2.5 cups frozen strawberries, thawed and cut into bite size pieces
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, combine water and cornstarch until smooth. Add strawberries and sugar, stir to combine.
  • Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes until thickened. Let cool completely before using.
