Delicious strawberry kiwi puff pastry desserts with homemade whipped cream - a fresh twist on a classic combo, guaranteed to impress!
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 12 frozen puff pastry shells, thawed
  • 0.33333334326744 cup strawberry preserves
  • 2 pints fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 4 kiwis, peeled and seeded
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, whisk the egg and water until well combined. Brush the puff pastry shells with the egg mixture, then bake following the package instructions.
  • Gently warm the preserves in a saucepan over low heat until melted. Take off the heat, then fold in the fresh strawberry slices.
  • Blend the kiwis and honey in a food processor until smooth. Beat the cream and sugar in a large bowl until stiff peaks form.
  • Stuff each puff pastry shell generously with fresh, juicy strawberries, then elegantly pour over a luscious kiwi sauce, and finally crown with a generous dollop of velvety whipped cream before presenting to your delighted guests.
