Party cake with refreshing strawberry margarita mix, perfect for picnics and potlucks.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup bottled strawberry-flavored nonalcoholic margarita drink mix
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ White Cake Mix
  • Vegetable oil and egg whites called for on cake mix box
  • 1 tablespoon grated lime peel
  • 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • Strawberries, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease only the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan. Mix the drink mix with water to measure 1 1/4 cups.
  • Combine cake mix, drink mix, oil, and egg whites in a large bowl. Use an electric mixer on low speed for 2 minutes. Pour the batter into a pan and bake as directed on the box for a 13x9-inch pan. Allow to cool.
  • Fold delicate shavings of lime peel into fluffy whipped topping, then generously layer onto the cake. Artfully top with fresh strawberries and keep chilled in the refrigerator with a cover.
