Create charming mini apple strawberry tarts for tea parties - spread apple glaze in pre-baked shells, add strawberries, more glaze, chill, top with whipped cream.
Ingredients:
  • 12 (4 inch) prepared tart shells, baked
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white sugar
  • 2.5 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 3 cups fresh strawberries
Instructions:
  • Prepare the glaze by combining sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Mix into apple juice and cook over medium heat, stirring until smooth and thickened. Let it cool for 10 minutes before using.
  • 1. Spread a little glaze on the bottom of the tart shells. Top with washed and hulled fresh berries, slicing as needed to fit. Drizzle the remaining glaze over the berries, ensuring they are fully covered. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream for an extra touch.
