Elevate mushrooms with decadent crab and cream cheese filling.
Ingredients:
  • 36 fresh mushrooms
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crab meat, drained
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Remove the stems from the mushrooms, setting aside about one-third to one-half of them, then finely chop the reserved stems.
  • Smoothly whip the cream cheese.
  • Combine minced mushroom stems and crabmeat in a small bowl. Blend in cream cheese and clam mixture. Add garlic salt and mix thoroughly. Stuff mushroom caps with cheese mixture and place on baking sheet.
  • Bake mushrooms with crab mixture at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes, or until hot and excess liquid has collected in the pan.
