A guaranteed hit at any party, prepare to share this recipe with everyone who tries it.
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 0.33300000429153 cup minced shallots
  • 1 red bell pepper, minced
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 32 ounces pepperoncini
Instructions:
  • Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy and browned. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate, and reserve the flavorful bacon drippings in the skillet.
  • Cook shallots and red pepper in the delicious drippings until tender over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes. Remove skillet from heat and allow to cool for 20 minutes.
  • Using an electric mixer, blend cream cheese and milk until smooth in a small bowl. Fold in the bacon and shallot.
  • Transfer the creamy cheese mixture into a sturdy plastic bag and snip a small hole in one corner for piping. Carefully slice each pepper lengthwise without cutting all the way through. Pipe the creamy mixture into the peppers using the bag. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to one day.
