Cheesy stuffed shells with savory tomato sauce - a crowd-pleasing pasta dish you'll crave!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 (32 ounce) container ricotta cheese
  • 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 8 ounces grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (28 ounce) jar pasta sauce
  • 8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Bring a generously salted pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain pasta.
  • Combine ricotta, half of the mozzarella, half of the Parmesan, eggs, parsley, salt, and pepper in a large bowl while the pasta cooks.
  • Mix together pasta sauce and mushrooms in a medium bowl. Stir in the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until fully incorporated.
  • Fill the shells with delicious ricotta mixture, then arrange them in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with the flavorful pasta sauce mixture.
  • Bake in the hot oven until the edges bubble and the shells are just beginning to set, for 35 to 60 minutes.
  • Savor while hot!
