Sun-dried tomato and basil tuna Turkish bread

Ingredients:
  • 200g fresh ricotta cheese
  • 2 x 185g packets Tuna Slices (Sundried Tomato and Basil, drained, reserving 2 tbsp oil)
  • 4 round Turkish bread rolls, split
  • 40g baby rocket
  • olive oil cooking spray
Instructions:
  • Preheat the sandwich press. In a bowl, mix ricotta with reserved oil until well combined. Spread the ricotta mixture onto the cut surfaces of the roll bases.
  • Place a bed of fresh rocket leaves and slices of flavorful tuna on each bread roll base. Don't forget to sprinkle a touch of black pepper for added flavor. Gently press the roll tops over the fillings to create delicious sandwiches. Finish by giving the tops and bases a light spray of oil for a golden, crispy finish.
  • Toast 2 bread rolls in a sandwich press for 4 to 5 minutes or until crispy and warm. Serve hot.
