Whip up quick Swedish turkey meatballs with creamy sauce, served over egg noodles for a comforting weeknight meal under an hour.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds ground turkey
  • 0.75 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl, then shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs using your hands.
  • Heat beef broth in the microwave until steaming for about 2 minutes, then smoothly incorporate flour into the broth using a whisk.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add meatballs, cooking until golden brown on all sides (about 2 minutes each). Lower heat and slowly pour in beef broth. Stir in heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Simmer and stir occasionally until meatballs are fully cooked (around 10 minutes).
  • 1. Boil a pot of lightly salted water. Cook egg noodles until al dente, 8 to 10 minutes, then drain. Serve meatballs and sauce over noodles.
