Overnight marinated sweet and sour grilled chicken thighs - bursting with flavor, ideal for any weeknight meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 (5 ounce) bone-in chicken thighs
Instructions:
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar, oil, vinegar, mustard, lime juice, lemon juice, garlic, seasoned salt, and pepper until fully combined.
  • Place chicken in a glass or ceramic bowl, pour sauce over, cover with plastic wrap, and let marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Get your outdoor grill ready by preheating it to medium heat and adding a light coating of oil to the grate.
  • Take out the chicken from the marinade, allowing any extra to drip off. Dispose of the rest of the marinade.
  • Grill the chicken until fully cooked, about 8 to 10 minutes per side, ensuring it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) with an instant-read thermometer.
