Sweet and Spicy Glazed Ham

Tangy mustard glaze with brown sugar and spices for perfect baked ham topping.
Ingredients:
  • 6- to 8-lb fully cooked smoked bone-in gluten-free ham
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup maple-flavored gluten-free syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Dash of ground nutmeg
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F. Line a shallow roasting pan with foil and place the ham, cut side down, on a rack in the pan. Insert an ovenproof meat thermometer into the thickest part of the ham without touching the bone.
  • Bake uncovered for about 1 hour 30 minutes or until thermometer reads 135°F to 140°F. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and brush the mixture over the ham during the last 30 minutes of baking.
  • Loosely cover the ham with foil and allow it to rest for 10 to 15 minutes to make carving easier.
