Delicious squash pie, reminiscent of grandma's pumpkin pie, featuring butternut squash as the star ingredient.
Ingredients:
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup mashed, cooked butternut squash
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Gently press the pie crust into a pie plate, folding the edges over and creating a beautifully crimped crust.
  • Combine sugar, squash, milk, eggs, cinnamon, and salt in a blender or whisk until smooth. Transfer the mixture into the pie crust.
  • Bake in the oven until the center is mostly set, around 40-45 minutes. Cool to your liking.
