Savory chicken and green chile salsa stuffed in crispy corn tortillas, topped with gooey Jack cheese, baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups chopped, cooked chicken
  • 0.5 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies
  • 1 (7 ounce) can prepared green chile salsa
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • oil for frying
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1.5 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine chicken, chilies, and salsa in a bowl.
  • Combine salt and whipping cream in a wide, shallow dish, stirring until well mixed.
  • In a large, heavy skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil until shimmering. Quickly fry each tortilla until it blisters, then immediately dip into cream and salt.
  • Stuff fried tortillas with savory chicken filling, roll tightly, and arrange seam side down in a baking dish. Drizzle with the remaining velvety cream sauce and generously sprinkle with aromatic cheese.
  • Place in a hot oven and bake until the cheese is melted, around 15 to 20 minutes.
