Elevate your Cinco de Mayo celebration with this delicious Mexican-inspired layered dip salad.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (15 ounce) can ranch-style beans, drained
  • 1 (14 ounce) can refried beans
  • 0.5 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar salsa
  • 0.25 head iceberg lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.5 cup crushed tortilla chips
  • 0.25 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Combine ranch-style beans and refried beans in a shallow casserole dish; sprinkle with taco seasoning mix and mix well. Spread the bean mixture evenly.
  • Combine sour cream with onion soup mix in a small bowl, then spread over the bean mixture. Finish by topping the sour cream with salsa.
  • Chill the dish until the bean layer sets, for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Create a beautiful stack by starting with a layer of salsa-covered lettuce, followed by a generous sprinkle of tortilla chips, and finish with a blanket of melted Cheddar cheese.
