Upgrade your dinner party game with this decadent pasta starter featuring the rich beef ragu sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 quantity Beef ragu sauce, see related recipe (beef removed, bay leaves, thyme and rosemary discarded)
  • 20.00 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 200g green beans, trimmed
  • 40.00 ml fresh oregano leaves
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 82.50 ml shaved parmesan
  • Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • Boil pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine ragu sauce and vinegar. Simmer until bubbling. Add beans and cook until tender, about 3 to 4 minutes. Mix in oregano and basil, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Combine the pasta with the sauce and toss well. Serve with a sprinkle of parmesan and fresh parsley on top.
