Spice up your pizza with flavorful tandoori mince that the whole family will love.
Ingredients:
  • 1 quantity Basic pizza dough (see related recipe)
  • 4.60 gm olive oil
  • 1 small brown onion, finely chopped
  • 250g lamb mince
  • 24.80 gm tandoori paste
  • 82.50 ml plain natural yoghurt
  • 165.00 ml grated reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
  • 20g baby spinach leaves, shredded
  • lemon wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • Prepare pizza dough, then shape it into two 35cm x 15cm bases. Transfer the bases onto a greased baking tray and preheat the oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, heat oil and add onion, cooking for about 5 minutes until softened. Then, add the mince and cook for another 5 minutes, using a wooden spoon to break it up until browned.
  • Stir in the tandoori paste and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant. Take it off the heat and mix in 1 tablespoon of yogurt.
  • 1. Scatter cheese over the bases, then layer on the mince mixture. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the bases are crispy. Top with spinach and finish with a drizzle of the remaining yogurt. Serve with lemon wedges.
