Tempting Turkey Tetrazzini

Creamy turkey pasta: Elegant and easy for both gatherings and busy nights.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (7 ounces) spaghetti
  • 2 cups chicken or turkey broth
  • 2 cups half-and-half, or milk
  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour or Wondra® quick-mixing flour
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups cut-up cooked turkey or chicken
  • 1 cup sliced ripe olives
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
Instructions:
  • Prepare spaghetti according to package instructions. Once cooked, rinse with cold water and drain well.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Combine broth, half-and-half, flour, butter, salt, and pepper in a 3-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Boil and continue stirring for 1 minute.
  • Mix together the spaghetti, turkey, olives, and almonds until well combined. Transfer the mixture into a 13x9x2 inch rectangular baking dish without greasing it. Top with a generous sprinkle of cheese before baking.
  • Bake without covering for 25-30 minutes, or until piping hot and bubbling.
