For fall-off-the-bone spare ribs, slow-cook them for ultimate juiciness and tenderness. Patience pays off for these delectable ribs!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup fajita seasoning (such as Fiesta®)
  • 2 tablespoons Hungarian sweet paprika
  • 2 racks pork spareribs, fat trimmed
  • 1 cup beer
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon prepared brown mustard
Instructions:
  • Prepare all ingredients.
  • Combine the brown sugar, fajita seasoning, and paprika in a mixing bowl.
  • Massage the brown sugar mixture onto both sides of the pork spareribs.
  • Arrange the spareribs in a 9x13-inch baking pan, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C) while combining beer, garlic, honey, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Lay out 2 large sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil with the shiny side facing down. Position a rack of spare ribs on each sheet, with the meaty-side facing up.
  • Lay 2 additional sheets of foil on top of the spare ribs, shiny-side up. Carefully seal the packet by firmly folding the edges of the foil together.
  • Evenly distribute the beer mixture among the packets before sealing them completely.
  • Seal the packets completely and arrange them side by side on an 11x14-inch baking sheet.
  • Roast the ribs in the oven until they are melt-in-your-mouth tender, for about 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
  • Gently open each packet and pour the flavorful drippings into a saucepan, keeping in mind you may require drippings from just one packet.
  • Lay the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil and let them rest.
  • Heat the saucepan over medium-high heat and simmer the drippings until the sauce thickens, for about 5 minutes.
  • Coat the ribs with the rich, thickened sauce.
  • Preheat the broiler with the oven rack positioned 6 inches from the heat source. Broil the ribs until the sauce is lightly caramelized, for about 5 to 7 minutes.
