Oyster sauce, sweet chili sauce, and cilantro fish cakes: a flavorful and effortless way to enjoy fish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound boneless fish fillets, cubed
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1 egg
  • all-purpose flour
  • oil for frying
Instructions:
  • In a food processor, blend together fish, 1/2 cup flour, oyster sauce, sweet chili sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, cilantro, green onions, and egg until fully incorporated. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Form the mixture into patties and gently coat them with flour.
  • Heat a generous amount of oil in a heavy skillet until shimmering. Fry fish cakes for 8 minutes, turning once, until beautifully golden brown.
