Savor Asian mince nestled in crisp lettuce for a burst of flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tsp olive or peanut oil
  • 2 stalks of lemon grass, pale section only, finely chopped
  • 4cm piece fresh ginger, peeled, finely grated
  • 1 small fresh red chilli, finely chopped
  • 400g pork mince
  • 130g bean sprout
  • 1 bunch coriander, leaves picked, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 24.40 gm fish sauce
  • 8-10 small cos lettuce leaves
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, warm the oil. Sauté the lemongrass, ginger, garlic, and chili for 1-2 minutes until aromatic. Turn up the heat, add the pork mince, and cook for 4-5 minutes until cooked through. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
  • Combine bean sprouts, coriander, lime juice, and fish sauce with the mince mixture, ensuring everything is well mixed.
  • Evenly distribute the delicious mince mixture onto the lettuce leaves. Enjoy this dish right away!
