Create the ultimate meatballs by blending ground beef, veal, and pork with garlic, parsley, and cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 0.5 pound ground veal
  • 0.5 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup freshly grated Romano cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 tablespoons chopped Italian flat leaf parsley
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups stale Italian bread, crumbled
  • 1.5 cups lukewarm water
  • 1 cup olive oil
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your ingredients.
  • In a large bowl, blend together beef, veal, and pork with cheese, eggs, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Incorporate bread crumbs into the mixture and gently blend in water, adding 1/2 cup at a time, until the consistency is moist yet holds together (typically around 1 1/4 cups of water); form into meatballs.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil until shimmering. Add meatballs in batches and cook until golden brown, crispy, and fully cooked, about 10 to 15 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
