The best tuna burger

Succulent tuna burgers, perfect for grilling and a delicious twist on traditional burgers.
Ingredients:
  • 1 sprig of fresh basil
  • 1 sprig of fresh mint
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 fresh red chilli
  • 1 lemon
  • 600 g fresh tuna steak from sustainable sources
  • 1 pinch of ground coriander
  • olive oil
  • ½ a round lettuce
  • 1 handful of rocket leaves
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 4 ciabatta rolls or burger buns
  • tomato ketchup or salsa verde
Instructions:
  • Prepare the herbs, spring onions, and chilli, along with lemon zest. Combine in a food processor. Add chopped tuna and ground coriander, then pulse until well combined. Shape mixture into 4 patties and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Preheat grill, brush patties with oil, season, and cook for about 2 minutes on each side. Prepare lettuce and tomato. Toast buns and assemble burgers with lettuce, rocket, tomato, and lemon wedges. Serve with ketchup or salsa verde.
