Easy homemade cheesy three-seed flatbread.
Ingredients:
  • 6 frozen unbaked large whole wheat rolls (from 48-oz package)
  • 2 teaspoons olive or canola oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed or flaxseed meal
  • 1/2 teaspoon black sesame seed or poppy seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon white sesame seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Place the frozen rolls on a microwave-safe plate and cover them with microwavable plastic wrap. Microwave on High for 25 seconds. Then, flip the rolls over and rotate the plate 180 degrees. Microwave for an additional 25 seconds on High to ensure they are fully thawed.
  • Generously coat a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. Carefully knead the roll dough on a lightly floured surface until combined. Press the dough into the bottom of the pan and brush with oil. Sprinkle the remaining ingredients on top.
  • Cover and allow to rise in a cozy spot for around 40 minutes, or until slightly puffy.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake until golden brown, about 20-22 minutes, then slice into 12 squares.
