Spicy Greek feta dip with roasted peppers and chile flakes - customize heat level to your liking.
Ingredients:
  • 10 ounces crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 medium roasted red peppers, drained and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 small garlic, minced
  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Kalamata olives
Instructions:
  • In a food processor, blend feta cheese, red peppers, oil, vinegar, garlic, and pepper flakes in short pulses until smooth. Be cautious not to overmix to prevent the tirokafteri from becoming runny due to the heat generated.
  • Adjust the seasoning to perfection by enhancing with more red pepper flakes, vinegar, or garlic to elevate the flavors to your preference.
  • Transfer the dish to a serving bowl and, if desired, top with olives for extra flavor. Enjoy immediately or keep cool in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
