Tofu Fries with Sesame

Crispy pan-fried tofu, a vegetarian appetizer for everyone to enjoy.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 0.25 cup spicy brown mustard
Instructions:
  • Pat tofu dry with paper towels for 45 minutes. Cut block into 1/4-inch-thick slices, then halve the slices. Lay slices in a single layer on paper towels and dust 1 tablespoon flour on top. Flip slices and sprinkle with the rest of the flour.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and saute tofu until golden brown on each side for 3 to 5 minutes. Mix in sesame seeds and mustard gently. Serve warm, being careful not to damage the tofu slices when stirring.
