Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
  • Vegetable oil, water and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
  • 1/2 cup chopped cocktail peanuts
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces

Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously coat a 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine the cookie mix, oil, water, and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Mix in the peanuts and press the mixture evenly into a pan.
  • Bake for 20 to 24 minutes until the center is set and golden brown. Allow to cool completely for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Place chocolate chips and butter in a small microwavable bowl. Microwave uncovered on High for 30 seconds. Stir well and microwave in 10-second intervals until smooth. Spread over the top of the bar, sprinkle with bacon pieces. Chill for about 30 minutes until chocolate sets. Cut into 4 by 4 rows and store covered in the refrigerator.
