Delicate, buttery scones are a delightful pairing for your afternoon tea.
Ingredients:
  • 225.00 gm self raising flour, sifted
  • 62.50 gm unsalted butter, cut into cubes
  • 40.00 gm Monkfruit Golden Sweetener
  • 193.13 gm milk full fat
  • pinch salt
  • 1 whole egg
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Combine flour, butter, salt, and golden sweetener until a crumbly texture forms.
  • Whisk the egg gently and combine it with the milk.
  • Slowly incorporate the liquid into the dry ingredients until just combined, being careful not to over mix.
  • Dust the work surface with additional flour and transfer the mixture onto it. Roll out to a thickness of 2 inches using a rolling pin.
  • Cut the dough into even portions using a cookie cutter.
  • Arrange on a greased oven tray and bake at 200°C for 15 minutes in a fan-forced oven.
  • Let cool a bit before enjoying with your choice of homemade jam or cream.
