Quick and simple cookies perfect for baking with kids!
Ingredients:
  • 375.00 ml plain flour
  • 1.25 gm cream of tartar
  • 161.25 gm caster sugar
  • 125g butter, melted, cooled
  • 8.80 gm vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 125.00 ml jelly beans
  • 332.50 ml mini pretzels
  • 250.00 ml mixed M&M’s
  • 12.5g sachet Wizz Fizz sherbert
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan-forced, then generously grease 4 large baking trays and line them with baking paper.
  • In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cream of tartar, and bicarbonate of soda. Stir in the sugar, then add the butter, vanilla, and egg. Mix thoroughly to combine. Roll the mixture into balls using level tablespoons. Flatten each ball into a disk and place on prepared trays with 5cm space in between. Add jelly beans, pretzels, and M&M’s on top, pressing gently to secure.
  • Bake 2 trays of cookies at a time in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until the edges are just turning golden. Let them cool on the trays for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with sherbet before serving.
