Triple-Ginger Bars

Delightfully zesty bars with triple ginger twist using Betty Crocker™ white cake mix for a quick and easy treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ White Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped crystallized ginger
  • 1 tablespoon grated gingerroot
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons decorating sugar crystals
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (or 325°F for a dark or nonstick pan). Grease and lightly flour just the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan or use baking spray with flour.
  • Combine cake mix, butter, and eggs in a large bowl, mixing with a spoon until well blended. Fold in all remaining ingredients except for sugar. Spread the batter evenly in the pan and finish by sprinkling with sugar.
  • Bake for 18 to 23 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool completely for about 1 hour. Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows to make bars, then store them loosely covered.
