Elevate yogurt and strawberries with a dreamy cereal surprise.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 box (4-serving size) wild strawberry-flavored gelatin
  • 2/3 cup Yoplait® 99% Fat Free creamy strawberry or creamy vanilla yogurt (from 2-lb container)
  • 3 cups Kix® cereal
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 9 fresh strawberries, sliced into fans
Instructions:
  • In a medium bowl, mix boiling water with gelatin until dissolved. Add yogurt and stir until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour and 30 minutes until thickened but not fully set.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Crush 1 cup of cereal in a plastic bag using a rolling pin. Combine crushed cereal and butter in a small bowl and mix well. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of an ungreased 8-inch square pan. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden brown. Allow it to cool before using.
  • Whip gelatin mixture with an electric mixer on high for 7 to 8 minutes until it doubles in volume. Gently fold in sliced strawberries, then pour over the crust. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour until firm.
  • Cut the dessert into squares and top each serving with a beautiful strawberry fan for a stunning presentation.
