Delicious trifle with angel food cake and fresh strawberries - perfect for any meal or celebration.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
  • 1 prepared angel food cake
  • 0.66666668653488 cup strawberry jam
  • 0.5 cup blueberries
Instructions:
  • Combine ripe, juicy strawberries with a sprinkle of sugar in a bowl, then chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together milk and pudding mix for about 2 minutes until smooth; gently fold in whipped topping until well combined.
  • Slice the angel food cake into 3 layers. Spread strawberry jam on the cut side of 1 layer and assemble it with one of the remaining layers to make 2-inch pieces. Spread jam on the last layer, cut it into 2-inch pieces, and sandwich them together.
  • Start by arranging half of the sandwiched cake pieces at the bottom of a trifle bowl. Add half of the strawberries on top. Spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the strawberries. Repeat the layers. Finish by topping with blueberries.
  • Chill the bowl covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
